2024 March Madness Series recap with results for each event.
The 2024 March Madness Poker Series consisted of 64 events played out over 17 days.
There were a total of 2,556 entries in all events and more than 3.21 BTC awarded to players!
Series Leaderboard Results
Congratulations to player weednreggae for winning the March Madness Series Leaderboard, finishing with a total of 7,384.68 points.
This was accomplished by finishing in the money in over half of the events on the schedule, cashing in an impressive 34 of 64, and taking 1st place in 6 of them.
The race for the top spot was a close one all the way down to the final day. Player Zapmeister also won 6 events but came up just short, finishing in the money 31 times, good for 6,978.96 points.
2024 March Madness Recap – Leaderboard Pools
Along with winning the Leaderboard player weednreggae also won every March Madness Leaderboard Pool.
The total payout for winning the Leaderboard and all of the Leaderboard Pools adds up to a total of 57,000 μBTC!
Leaderboard Pools are a rake-free side competition between players, allowing them to win more prizes by accumulating leaderboard points in select events.

March Madness Big Dance Freeroll
The final Top 64 players on the March Madness Leaderboard earned a spot in the Big Dance Freeroll.
The Big Dance Freeroll was split between two days. Play began on April 8th as a regular tournament and played from 63 players down to 15. The Overall Leaderboard winner was awarded an automatic bid to the Sweet 16.
The remaining 15 players then joined the Leaderboard winner, weednreggae, to resume play in the Sweet 16 Heads-Up Shootout on April 9th.

2024 March Madness Main Event
The 2024 March Madness Main Event took place on April 7th, bringing in 60 entries and a prize pool of 300,000 μBTC.
