SwC Poker’s prestigious Big BTC poker tournament, held on the last Sunday of every month, took place again on July 28th 2019! The fierce competition attracted 81 entrants battling it out for a massive prizepool of 769,500 in chips (0.7695 BTC).
When the dust settled on the virtual felt, kapitaaal had won, winning the top prize of 211,612.5 chips (0.2116125 BTC). The runner-up kissapig, walked away with a 146,205 in chips (0.146205 BTC).
Our third place finisher, jenglr, rounded out the podium finishers and walked away with 100,035 in chips (0.100035 BTC). The other players who made the money included, in order of 4th-10th were, SharkyMcFish, veganhippie, h7r, creamsauce, themayorpete, sootdtho and beentojailb4.
Among the top finishers were long-time SwC Poker players and new members alike. Several of the 10 cashing players earned their BIG BTC seat from satellites or freerolls. The next BIG BTC will run on August 25th, 2019 and feature a 750,000 chip (0.75 BTC) guaranteed prize pool.
The 10,000 chip buy in can be paid directly, but there are many guaranteed chances to satellite into the game for as little as 100 chips. Players with sufficient krill also have multiple chances to win a seat in krillrolls.
SwC Poker is undertaking a big project to improve the software. The next quarter year will be a lot of work for the team, and the players will notice huge improvements when we are finished.
