BIG BTC WRAP-UP & COMING UPGRADES

CONGRATULATIONS TO DONNYNOSMOND!

The world famous BIG BTC took place again on last weekend of June, with 95 entrants battling it out for their share of the 1,000,000 chip prize pool.

With a full Bitcoin guaranteed in the prizepool, stakes were high as SwC players battled it out on the digital felt.

DonnyOsmond outlasted the field and was rewarded the 275,000 chip top prize (equivalent to 0.275 BTC). Runner-up SenoritaLova claimed second place for 190,000 chips while Dalanthi came in third for 130,000 chips.

Among the top finishers were long-time SwC Poker players and new members alike. Several of the 10 lucky winners earned their BIG BTC seat from satellites and freerolls.

The next BIG BTC will run on July 28th, 2019 and feature a 750,000 chip guaranteed prize pool. The 10,000 chip buy in can be paid directly, but there are many guaranteed chances to satellite into the game for as little as 100 chips. Players with sufficient krill also have multiple chances to win a seat in krillrolls.

Some may have noticed the BIG BTC guarantee has been lowered. The reason is simple, we don’t yet have a big enough player pool. Based on player feedback, it is clear we must improve our software to offer a better playing experience.

SwC Poker will now reduce marketing efforts and focus on a software refactor to greatly improve the playing experience and bring new features to the game. The team is working hard to add lightning network and overhaul OFC.
