PLAYER-SELECTS-FEE OPTION ADDED FOR BITCOIN WITHDRAWALS

PLAYERS CAN SELECT BETWEEN 6, 25, AND 50 BLOCK TARGET

Players will now be presented with an option to select a fee level when they initiate a Bitcoin withdrawal on SwC Poker. During 2021 the Bitcoin poker community experienced mempool spikes, and player feedback dictated that SwC Poker build a solution to allow players to specify their withdrawal fee so they can affect speed of confirmation.

SwC Poker formerly targeted the 50th block for all withdrawals, but when the mempool spiked this policy resulted in long waits for confirmation. The team responded by building player-selects-fee feature, so now when players withdrawal they will be presented with an option to select 6, 25, or 50th block targets for each of their Bitcoin withdrawals.

This will allow players that wish to pay a bigger fee to receive confirmed coins quicker, and players that don’t mind waiting can continue to pay a lower fee.

Bitcoin Cash has also been added to the game for those players that wish to play poker in BCH and pay almost no fees for deposit and withdrawal. Most BCH withdrawals confirm next block.
